If you are a summer 2024 crew, your dietary restrictions will be communicated via the roster function in the registration system. Once a name is added to the roster and disclaimers accepted, the profile can be edited. At that time, please make sure your needs are adequately spelled out. Parents and adult leaders filling out their profiles in CampDoc will have the opportunity to list those needs with detailed information there as well.
A member of the Northern Tier team will reach out to those individuals indicating allergy issues in their profiles. They will be seeking clarification on these allergies, severity, how they are managed, food needs, etc.
- If we can meet those needs, we will notify you and add the additional charges to your crew’s registration.
- If we cannot meet those needs, we will also notify you so that you will prepare substitutions to bring for your own meals.

Please reference the menu and substitution chart for suggestions on suitable items that meet their caloric needs while on trail.
The Northern Tier Trading Post will have a variety of backpackers meals and allergen free snacks available, however selection is limited. Please plan and prepare accordingly, as you and your parents will know what items will best accommodate the needs of your participants.
