At the Ely base, we offer 7-night and 10-night treks. These treks depart on a regular schedule. You will need to know your arrival date at the time of registration. There is a limited number of each trek available on each date, so plan to have a few backup options when you make your registration. Reservations will be first come, first served, so if the trek is available you will know immediately.

- Standard Outfitting includes Lightweight Kevlar Canoes.
- All fees listed are for the trip indicated.
- Off-Peak Pricing: Crews arriving July 2nd-11th and August 1st and later will receive a 25% discount.
- A Lightweight meal option can be purchased for crews wanting to travel fast and light (2026 Crews)
- A 4th canoe can be added for crews wanting to fish while traveling slower (2026 Crews)
- Atikokan and Ely Crews Planning to travel into Quetico Provincial Park will pay additional park fees at the time of entrance into the park. Crews should plan to budget an additional $750-$1500 for these park fees. More details here.

- $350.00 Deposit due upon registration to secure adventure.
- 20% of remaining balance: due 30 days following registration.
- 40% of remaining balance: due October 1st
- Final Payment – balance due April 1st
- Late registrations are eligible for custom payment schedules
- Your crew must be on either the recommended payment schedule or a custom one setup by Northern Tier. Please call us at (218) 365-4811 to setup a custom payment schedule. Not following the recommended payment schedule and not contacting us to setup a custom one could lead to the cancellation of your crew.
Disclaimer: BSA National High Adventure Bases set baseline pricing 12-24 months prior to attendance. Additional fuel, food, utilities or other surcharges may be required based on economic conditions, increased costs, and other factors.
- You will arrive at Northern Tier on the date designated on the schedule.
- Your first night will be in a cabin on base.
- Your final night will be in a cabin on base and you will depart for home on the date noted on the schedule.
- All nights in between will be spent on-water.
