Wilderness First Responder (WFR) is the definitive course in medical training for outdoor educators, guides, SAR team members, and others who work or play in remote areas. The curriculum is comprehensive and practical, including all of the essential principles and skills required to assess and manage medical problems in isolated and extreme environments.
Wilderness First Responder Training
The course takes place March 9, 2020 – Mar 15, 2020 at Northern Tier National High Adventure Base, located along the Moose Lake Entry to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCAW). Travel information can be found here.
Course fee – $650
Course Fee with Food and Lodging included – $775
(Food and Lodging are available for all participants. Rustic cabins with simple bunk beds or cots and electricity. Separate shower and restroom facilities are a short walk from cabins. 3 hot meals served daily in the dining hall.)
A non-refundable deposit of $325 is required to register, Balance of fees due Feb 1st, 2020
