Northern Expeditions Canoe Base
Northern Expeditions
Canoe Base
Bissett, Manitoba, Canada
Our most remote base, choose this one for extreme high adventure. You and your crew will take a floatplane into the Atikaki Wilderness, beginning and ending at the Scout Lake canoe cache. Treks from here explore the bush country of Manitoba, traveling the Bloodvein, Gammon, and Manigotagan Rivers. Crews follow in the steps of the early fur traders, who paddled the Bloodvein on their way from the Hudson Bay into the heart of Canada. From Northern Expeditions, scouts paddle in both the Atikaki Provincial Park and the Woodland Caribou Provincial Park.
